The Rotary Club of Melfort is pleased to announce a partnership with

Co-op Community Spaces in a joint project to provide enhancements to our local Rotary Park.

Our Rotary Park is a beautiful green area in the heart of residential Melfort. Our community is growing and there is an influx of young families seeking outdoor recreational opportunities. With the support of our Rotary Club and a commitment of care by the City of Melfort, we can foster greater usage of the park by people of all ages.

With the support of a 2016 Co-op Community Spaces grant, we will be refurbishing the pathways in our 8.5 acre park, installing a tot playground structure, and putting in family picnic shelters.

In alignment with the City of Melfort’s new brand, Play Melfort, we will be offering a much improved recreational space for everyone to enjoy.

In a ceremony held Friday, June 24, 2016 at Rotary Park, we celebrated this new partnership and publicly acknowledged the support of Co-op Community Spaces. Randy Wasserman, the Manager of our local co-op, Prairie North Co-op, was on hand to make the official announcement along with City of Melfort Mayor Lang  and members of the Rotary Club of Melfort.
