District Governor Ed Thompson visits Melfort Rotary July 30th

The Melfort Rotary had a special visitor at their meeting at the Salvation Army Church on Tuesday, July 30 when Rotary District 550 District Governor Ed Thompson paid the club a visit to talk about the state of Rotary at the club level and Rotary International level.
Each year the new District Governor has a mandate to visit clubs and this was part of that tour for 2013.
“Basically the purpose was to go through what the clubs are doing, goals and objective. We were talking about vibrant clubs, so we have a program to have some fun and try and get our clubs more vibrant and more meaningful to the members,” Thompson said
